Tenax the eastern dragon is looking at you from the side with his orange eye highlighted by the black markings around it. His mouth is wide open, revealing rows of sharp teeth, impressively long and sharp cuspids, and a lithe and almost prehensile tongue. The teeth glisten and the gums and tongue shine in contrast to the matte, velvety fur on the white and brown muzzle. The chin tuft is black and orange, as is the shiny nose. His dark hair has a purple sheen to it. Tenax thinks you smell tasty, and he's happy to meat you! Chester the thylacoleo has the striped markings of a red tailed chipmunk. He is facing mostly to the side while looking at the viewer with his yellow eye, his mouth wide open. The sides of his muzzle are mostly white, although mottled where his whiskers grow. Light brown, brown, tan, and darker stripes highlight his nose and run from the tip of his nose, around his eyes, and down his back, leaving his front a creamy white like the sides of his muzzle. The sharp incisors at the front, top and bottom, are huge, so it's no wonder the top ones show even with his mouth closed. Unlike a squirrel, the teeth lining the sides show that Chester is carnivorous, with wide, sharp molars. His tongue is thick but tapering. Both teeth and tongue glisten as drool strands stretches from the roof of his mouth to his tongue and molars. There's a reason why Chester is overweight, and it's not going to change tonight!

Lock screen with the awesome commission I got from Lerion. Three adventures pose as a group, surrounded by darkness and barely visible undead monstrosities. In the back, Agnolo the opossum is lifted aloft by a sweet gale of magic as he holds his flute. His long, multi-colored scarf flutters behind him. In the middle, the huge badger druid Tješimir crouches. Her leaf-decorated voulge at the ready, complementing the leaves worked into hair and along her shoulders. In the front, Zayne the ranger holds his sword over his shoulder, confident that his crew, the Forest Explorers, can handle this threat easily. He always thinks that at the start of an adventure.

Visiting the Houston Space Center was pretty darn cool. Lots of hard science has been done here, and I hope lots more to come!

The space shuttle being piggy backed on a modified Boeing 747. (The shuttle is a replica, but this is how it is transported after missions.) The 1969 control room where the first manned moon landing was done at Johnson Space Center. The building is still used for mission control. Some raccoon at the wrong end of a Saturn 5 rocket. I bet this dork thinks it's a dumpster Saturn 5 rocket. One of 3 remaining Saturn V rockets, and the only remaining one that was certified for actual missions. (The missions got cancelled, so it was never used.)

They had an incredibly chill skunk that would fall asleep in your arms, foxes, coyotes, a pair of raccoons, an emu, an ancient bobcat, and tortoise. You could visit the animals in their enclosures.

I went to the #HandsOff protest yesterday. There's so much wrong with the evil people who are running our government. My sign could have easily listed twice as many things, but I only had so much room!
My sign for the Hands Off protest. It includes the following that I want the government to stop harming: LGBTQIA+: Uses the intersex, trans, and people of color inclusive rainbow flag Social Safety Net: This includes Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, food stamps, and all other programs designed to help the poor. Federal Employees: All the departments being gutted by a corrupt billionaire Musk, cynically citing "graft and corruption" so that Musk, Republicans, and the wealthy can engage in more corruption. Libraries & Education: Books bans, rewriting history, and the intimidation and manipulation of our educational facilities and employees. It's clear that our college system is wholly unsuitable and craven, and our public educational resources, such as public libraries, museums, radio, and television are all at high risk. Civil Rights & Free Speech: The intimidation of private businesses and law firms, and their craven collapse in the face of it, risks everyone. The criminalization of public, protected speech, especially over the Palestinian genocide and the Israeli government's actions, and the abduction and expulsion of students whose speech is unfavored and without due process, is horrifying and antithetical to a democracy. Refugees & Immigrants: Christians now preach about the sin of empathy. Jesus weeps. Immigration makes our country strong, and the xenophobic attitudes in this country make us weak. Economy and Tariffs: Trump is a fucking idiot. Here comes a self-ondlicted recession. Science, Research, & Medicine: The conspiracists, theocrats, and fascists do not like facts. Much research has been lost already. Lives spent wastefully. International Aid & Alliances: Millions will die for a fraction of a fraction of the budget. The loss of soft power hands power to China. Our alliances are fractured, and we are a pariah on the international stage. There's more not listed. While in college, my black German shepherd Bob really wanted to sleep on the bed with me. He was happiest with his nose shoved in my armpit. This surprised me from sleep several times!

He'd also steal my covers and pillow as I slept

We were out playing Pokemon Go, and so many other people were out for it!
While the trees are bare and the grass a dull brown, a crowd of people stand in Murray Park. Cars line the road. The people all have their phones out, as they're playing Pokemon Go.
