2/2 Clockwise from the top of the picture, we have Ghost, Dandelion, Marigold, and Mouse. They’re about 7 months at this point, and I’m working with some local rescues to get them all fixed and vaxxed. So yeah, looks like Waltimus Maximus has some more friends to play with!

And many Christians believe that Trump and Musk are heralds of the anti-Christ. Christianity isn’t an inherently political set of beliefs. Many of those who fight for civil rights do so because those rights are rooted in a Christian view of the inherent dignity of every human being.

And if you commit crimes against the constitution and violate the civil rights of those traitors, then by definition you are also guilty of treason. Two wrongs do not make a right.

East Germany was occupied by the dictatorship of the Soviet Union. West Germany was a free and sovereign nation with western allied troops based there to counter the Soviet threat. Not a relevant example.

I’m not saying both sides are equally bad in their objectives. I’m saying that once you start justifying violating the constitution because you think the ends justify the means, it’s a slippery slope straight into tyranny.

Arguing that the president’s staff should extrajudicially arrest and prosecute the Supreme Court without due process is tyranny. There’s no way around that, and if that’s what you want then you’re just as bad at MAGA.

You’re right, it’s not…. So long as they are afforded due process and punished within the bounds of our system of constitutional law. Once you step outside that, it becomes tyranny. You think tyranny is only tyranny when it’s done by actual traitors?

The Allies didn’t set up dictatorships to rule the formerly Axis nations. Nor did they resort to the same atrocities as the Axis nations did, even as retaliation for the horrors they witnessed.
