ANZAC day is always a fraught time, war, conflict, and remembrance. While neo-nazis heckle Welcome to Country, I was defending the Welcome from an Elder in Perth, who included specifically the Indigenous soliders. The South African immigrant thought she shouldn't have made them out to be special.

Today's good time was having coffee with my former colleague and hearing how well the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Narrap Unit and Team is doing 13 years after I recieved the $200,000 grant to start it all. Overwhelming happiness at all they are doing <3
