Harm reductionist. Liberal with progressive leanings. Here bc my rural VA neighbors are in a cult. Strange days when you get radicalized by empathy. Gentle reminder - the lesser of 2 evils, hurts less people. 🫶🏼

2/2 We should be organizing, getting some signs and standing outside the Capitol. Letting Dems take the blame for Republicans increasing healthcare costs while there is still time to stop Republicans from increasing healthcare costs (January) is the most left leaning thing to do ever.

Remember how Trump salivated over the "beachfront property" in Gaza

Well, just like he wanted to take advantage of the conflict there, he's now looking to profit-with Russia-over the people killed in the Ukraine war

Because maybe-he thinks-that'll get him billions AND a Nobel Peace Prize
The Trump administration's corruption has extended to selling out Ukraine—and America's interests—to Russia so that the Trump family and their friends can make a few bucks.

Must-read reporting from @wsj.com this weekend. www.wsj.com/world/russia...

Trump has exploded the cost of healthcare and groceries, ordered extrajudicial killings, destroyed the CDC, lined his pockets with bribes, and pardoned hundreds of unrepentant criminals. But for American voters, the alternative was unthinkable: a raspy-voiced president who wore Hoka sneakers.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

Threads is slathered in foreign bot accounts just as badly as X. Trump is in the shitter, so thousands of pro-Trump posts suddenly appear despite NONE of his failures being addressed. Who else would support legislation showing the country of origin on EVERY social media account everywhere?

The fact that TPUSA posted the entirely reasonable comments from the instructor here as coming from the “TRANS PROFESSOR” gives away the game.

They’re not defending students, they’re targeting faculty — as always
idk not to mention how very nuanced and normal the actual response here was

The administration stands behind its new policy and says it will be vindicated in appeals. DOJ has sought expedited appeals in the 5th and 8th circuits while seeking delays in appeals elsewhere, frustrating litigants who say it amounts to forum shopping. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

This is a deeply unprofessional and illegal partisan statement from the Trump hack who's currently director of the CIA.

It's also deeply dishonest, because the decision to grant the shooter asylum here was made by the Trump administration.

I really wish journalists would stop using the word "retribution" to describe Trump's efforts to criminalize opposition to him, as it treats his claim that his adversaries did something wrong in the first place.

Trump went on a late night posting bender last night on the war in Ukraine. He criticized Biden, he criticized the U.S., he criticized Ukraine, he criticized Zelensky, he criticized our European allies. The only person he didn’t criticize is Putin. Only Putin.

Shocker, huh?

Never been enough bleach to whitewash MTG's image.
Two things can be true:

1. We need more Republicans in Congress who are willing to take a stand against Trump.

2.

Breaking character: I am open to the idea the media's coverage of Biden's age and mental acuity was fair or perhaps not even tough enough. But the fact that it was so much tougher than the coverage of Trump's (more severe) mental decline is damning and I can't see how anyone could argue otherwise.

I guess Republicans can't write their own legislation now? Democrats have to lower their wants to what some Republicans might sign off on? If Republicans want a 1 year clean extension of the ACA they can write their own bill. 🙄
"That's absolutely a ridiculous assertion. Shame on you for saying that" -- Hakeem Jeffries was not happy when CNBC's Rebecca Quick claimed he actually wants healthcare costs to go up to score political points on Republicans
