Trying something a bit different today for masking. Normally I don't do anything and just do some clean up after. I don't like using painter's tape because of the hard ledge it leaves, but maybe paper tape will work better this time. What do you think?

Also way back in the day in 2014, I did a few Underground Sea alters as a set. The theme was times of day, so we had noon, sunrise/sunset, and midnight. I particularly enjoy the midnight one.

I was browsing through my old alter photos and found a few I had forgotten about. I like seeing how my art has grown through the years of working on art. This guy was finished in 2014: eleven whole years ago! Crazy how time flies.

On Friday, I held a live painting session in my Discord server and started working on a themed #alteredart set of Tron lands. The theme was suggested in VC while I was painting. Comment on what you think it might be! Hint: it's esoteric.

Sometimes it's hard to know what to look for to find inspiration. Should you look inward or outward, to others or to nature? I often default to nature in a lot of cases, as the beauty it offers is so mesmerizing. To see the subtle sheen of iridescence in flower petals is one of my favorite things.

Sometimes the smallest amount of paint can have the biggest impact. This Madcap Skills was a fun experiment back in the day, and I still love the way it looks. The juggled fire sticks remind me of fall festivals and warm company.

This #alteredart is one of my favorite cards I have ever done for #MagicTheGathering art. Very proud of how this looks even after all the years (I did this art in 2014 and took me almost 6 hours to do: now this would take me around 3 hours).

Another throwback, this time an #alteredart of Jace the Mind Sculptor. The commissioner asked for his deck to be seasonally themed, and Jace got to be the snowy version of himself. I like the effect this gave.

Finished up this #alteredart Brainstorm from #MagicTheGathering on Friday, and I love it! Di'Terlizzi is one of my favorite old school #MTG artists, and I think this art is a great example of the beauty of old Magic.

The #GrandArchiveTCG Silvershine #alteredart drip is real. I really liked making this card, the effect reminds me of water dripping off weeping willow branches and a bit of magic.

A slight change of course, but I wanted to show off some of my older #MagicTheGathering alters. These are about 10 years old, so the photos aren't great (and I am a better artist now). But I thought a bit of a change would be interesting.
