Here's the one I love if you have trouble finding yours.

For those of you who have a Christmas tree up, any favorite inspiring ornaments?

I've loved Doctor Who for years, so it shouldn't be surprising that I wrote a story about aliens who travel the universe to rescue helpless creatures.

Is it possible that I wrote a #scifi story with aliens who use cozy plant-based tech? Yes, yes it is. This is one of my favorite alien-like #houseplants, a purple passion plant (Gynura aurantiaca). Those hairs! Propagates easily from cuttings, some of which may go to beta readers. #writing #booksky

Also, if you want, you can easily delete each one from your history too. And the icon on the left of each chunk of text is different depending on the program it was pasted from. Neat.

Just did some experimenting. The most recent ones show up at the top. So as you start copying more text, they keep piling up. And now you get to see some of the diverse fiction and nonfiction I work on! Can't imagine a better way to spend a Friday night.

Just discovered another useful Word feature - it tracks the last 24 items you copied! Even from different programs. In the Home tab, next to the Clipboard, click on the small arrow. Useful for #writers and #editors when editing and moving around chunks of text.

Anyone else ever get this annoying horizontal line in Word that just won't go away? It took me way too long to learn that it can easily be removed by going into the Border setting and selecting "No Border." Hope this helps!

Any other #writers with young kids do this? Or, without kids? Is it just me? Every night... #writingcommunity #writing #BookSky

Not usually one to take sunrise and sunset pictures, but couldn't resist snapping a shot and sharing what I woke up to this morning after the snow we accumulated.

Is it possible that I am teaching myself this #ragtime song because I wrote a #scifi story about an immortal who loves him some Scott Joplin? Yes, yes it is. Hope you enjoy the first third of Maple Leaf Rag. #piano #scifibooks #debutnovel #hopepunk #writing #writingcommunity #music #nanowrimo

Any other writers love the "Split" feature in Word? So helpful for when needing to work on two different sections of a Word document at once (e.g., when you need to make sure you're quoting what your MC said earlier correctly!). Under View -> Split #writingcommunity #BookSky #editing #writing

Breaking my foot yesterday didn't stop me from seeing The Nutcracker ballet today. Great show at #cuboulder with the Boulder Ballet and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. www.boulderballet.org/the-nutcracker #boulder #colorado

As prophesized, the potato bread was nearly lost to time, but then miraculously became reincarnated as pain perdu (French toast). The powdered sugar hides a multitude of sins. #breakfast #bread #baking

Update on my #ReverseNaNoWriMo efforts. (Yes, I'm making this up.) I wrote a #scifi novel but needed to get the word count down. Over 18 days, went from 122K to 116K (-5K!) by greening (line editing) the entire book. More to go but feels good. #writing #editing As I'm a scientist, obligatory graph.

Had fun at #Denver Zoo Lights tonight. Love this annual event. And not just because I wrote a #scifi novel about an alien zoo (seriously). @denverzoo.bsky.social #zoos #writingcommunity #writing

Treating myself to some gluwein (spiced warm wine) at the Denver Christkindlmarket. Love this annual event. This is the opening weekend, so lots of time still to check it out if you're in the area! www.christkindlmarketdenver.com #festival #market #funtimes #colorado

Just an ordinary loaf of potato bread. Why? Because it's a great use of leftover mashed potatoes. Just something to think about after #Thankagiving next week! The bread makes wonderful sandwiches. This loaf may also be reincarnated as French toast soon. #baking

Here's another fun random "word of the day." Glissando. Also recently spotted in a TJ Klune novel. Thanks again, TJ! (And now I just want to listen to "Great Balls of Fire.") #writingcommunity

Sharing a random "word of the day." Recently saw the second usage in a TJ Klune novel. Thanks, TJ! #writingcommunity

I'm not usually one to buy coasters, but couldn't pass this by at a #crafts #fair this weekend. Is #steampunk making a comeback? With purple iridescence. Made with resin and locally sourced old bike parts! More #art and #jewelry at their website www.MYPhoenixRisingCO.com
