It's ironic that he mentions this (which I call "combat stealth"; it's what nu-Wolfenstein calls it) and then immediately talks about the "AI genius" of FEAR, which does indeed have enemies that always know your position (once you're revealed), they just sometimes flank you or play a scripted action
