In the larps I have been in factions have been really helpful, I think with O/U I couldn't get into one and Jacobean was squalid. Combined with my timezone, I simply had very fewer interactions and I'm not as confident in online spaces.
Events like BBFL were great to interact thanks again 🙏

In the end I missed the Closing Ceremonies because I was asleep following nights of insomnia. But honestly I think it was for the best because I think it would have made me sad because in the end I don't think I made any friends, mostly because I don't think I know how to online.

Then I won a match at BBFL#2 which gave me the funds to survive to the end. Thanks to Mondo for covering my entry and betting on me. Battling was all Jacobean would live for whether it was watching the Beetle Battles or fighting greased up in the ring himself.

20OCT25 after nearly quitting I decided that I at least wanted to be a tourist on the Dream and survive to the end. Happy I could afford a license, I was never going to be able to afford the Labubu of portraits from Eustace. The closest I came to deox was 44cr.

T6: Desi visiting my dumb little Dreamer's Gym (where Jacobean would just go and post by post, work out) one night while the rest of the Dream slept was pretty impactful at the time.

Being truly factionless wasn’t a choice at the start. A mix of AUS time zone and bad luck I couldn't get recruited. The first five days truly sucked. Uncertain if I was bothering people, trying to make connections, not getting any feedback. Triggering previous insecurities i’ve had in larp pregames
