I made the mistake of sharing my Letterboxd with a student who then saw all the shlocky, b-tier trash I love to watch. Yesterday they mentioned a movie and went, "It's not very good. Tess, you would like it!" FUCKING SAVAGE AND I WILL NEVER RECOVER!

I had to make sure it wasn't photoshopped and holy fuck, it gets worse. You aren't being accountable when you refer to statutory assault as "consensual" and you SHOULD feel shame for what you've done!

Number 31 of #HorrorMovieChallenge2025 is always meant to be a little deeper in the horror iceberg than I tend to wander for my own leisure. I went back and forth, but landed on my second guinea pig movie. Because it is short and mermaids sound fun.

Checked to see how I'm doing with #HorrorMovieChallenge2025 and holy crap! I'm all caught up. This is number 30. I've been doing this self-imposed challenge for 12 years and it always goes so fast. Which makes me nervous because number 31 is traditionally...Not fun. But that's Future Tess's problem.
