Plant translocations and reintroductions for conservation purposes are often unsuccessful. Sandrine Godefroid and colleagues have summed up the outcome of over 3000 plant translocations across Europe, their outcome and reason for success or failure.

The #Tagliamento is the last preserved larger Alpine river in Europe. To preserve this unique riverscape and its ecosystem, our website, www.tagliamento.org, is a first start to raise awareness, collecting information about the river and bundling the communities and activities around the river.
