And with the ACA issue, as with every other issue under Mike Johnson, the House returns from many more days off to do a mad frantic scramble to get something done before 22 million people get screwed in 30 days, with Trump constantly posting and saying different things about it.

It would be hilarious if an increasingly disinhibited Trump included in his announcement of this pardon a little ad libbed aside about how his son Don Jr will especially appreciate this.

But when that AI bubble bursts, the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

In the real world, having the right positions - and Harris, I thought, gave a good convention speech - does not make you a good candidate. There's a certain kind of progressive who thinks that elections are a chance to make Americans eat their vegetables, whether they like it or not.
Every person who says 'Harris was a terrible candidate' not only ignored her commitment to democracy, Ukraine, the ACA, but also reproductive rights and decency.

But a Republican operative like Eric Owens isn't going to look at an Insurrectionist who sold out Ukraine and see problems.
