Made a blueberry tart for the first time tonight because later this week I am going to make a cranberry tart. I thought it wasn’t super great, but it actually was near perfect with no egg bits or lumps! Homemade whip cream to top it off.

Made the first batch of blueberry jam with 6 cups of blueberries. This batch I used things like vanilla, cinnamon, clover, and cardamom; so it feels a bit like holiday jam, which is yummy! My next batch though might try to stick more a true blueberry flavor.

Almost thought I was losing my mind because making and canning pickles wasn’t working. Then I realized I forgot a key element that makes the difference for canning.
