As you move to private practice, there are things you can put in place to provide options to offset some client costs. Sliding scales, group opportunities, share free resources of some kind.

Part of choosing our profession was because we do care and want to help. It’s a heartbreaking choice - you or the people you serve. The reality is you aren’t serving anyone well - yourself included - by staying in place when it’s become precarious.

Yes! I moved fr Community Health to full time private practice the 2nd year of Covid life. As we tell our clients, there comes a time where your needs have to come first. You can’t be present and effective for your clients - or your life - if you’re at your burnout limit. 💛
