For example, someone pretended to be a GC account for weeks or even months at one point, gained my trust, and temporarily gained access to the FeministWiki twitter account before unmasking themselves as a TRA in disguise.
They can be really, really evil and straight up manipulative.

In my personal experience, TRAs are more likely to actually behave that way, creating fake accounts to manipulate.
