Featuring insights from former TLC Operations Manager Leigh Walters, the film celebrates Peter & John as true Natural Guardians. In a remarkable act of generosity, they have bequeathed their Cradle Mountain property to the TLC, a gift made even more significant as it adjoins our Daisy Dell Reserve.

Eastern quolls will rest during daytime hours in dens, and they can have up to five dens, which they use alternately. They can carry nesting material in their mouths into the den, you may spot females doing this throughout the period she has young with her.

We’re working alongside researchers from the University of Tasmania, Federation University Australia and the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development to monitor how the landscape responds, including changes to carbon cycles, vegetation, and wildlife populations.

They store carbon, support diverse plant communities, & provide habitat for threatened species – incl a nationally significant pop of migratory birds, the Latham’s snipe. But they’re at risk. Invasive weeds, feral deer and altered water flows from historic drains are threatening their health.

Restoration works were completed in April this year in collaboration with Nature Glenelg Trust enelg Trust, as part of a project supported by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania Threatened Species Partnership Grant Program supported by the Tasmanian Government.
