Just in from two SF No Kings events (Ocean Beach and then a colossal march and rally downtown). So many good signs, so much devotion to justice, liberty, human rights, and Jesus lord the one part of the US economy that must be booming right now: INFLATABLE critter costumes.

Mahmoud Khalil finally had a chance to watch a video of artists and actors reading Mahmoud’s letter to his newborn son from ICE detention.

We’re overjoyed that Mahmoud is free to be with his family while his case proceeds. We'll keep fighting for everyone’s rights to free speech and due process.

A win! A federal judge has ordered the government to restore hundreds of NIH grants slashed by the Trump administration, ruling the cuts were discriminatory against minorities and LGBTQ individuals. The judge said he’d have to be “blind” not to see the discrimination and declared the cuts illegal.
