Try being a teacher here! I have to explain it all the time. See also explaining that Ireland has its own language not just an accent! I have also been asked how to call the mainland from Dublin....

Its easier as a teacher to just go to school than set cover work when ill!

More importantly I reconnected with so many friends that I have embarrassingly neglected over the years. Social media really just isn't the same feeling as being around folks is it, no matter how we try to convince ourselves it is!
