This is the working draft I have for Meren, and I'm happy enough with it? I've never played her before, and the natural inclination is to just play an Edict Pile and grind people to dust. We'll try it out, but it might also change in the future.

I built Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion and Master Chef 5 months ago, and it was my first dedicated +1/+1 counters deck.
Why didn't I build it sooner? They keep printing white hot fire with every new set.

I don't want to be the "Oh shit the sky's falling" person, but this card is pushed.
Granted I'll never play with, and probably won't play against, this card, but any artifact mana giving something split second is cracked.
At least they costed it effectively, although treasures exist.

And there's 10,000. When I had the list on TappedOut before, I had about that many views. However, you could have it show up on the front page once a day. I was also more active on Twitter.
These days I don't mess with any of that, so for it to slowly creep to 10k is breathtaking.

I think if you give it a year, Stock Up will probably be banned in Legacy and restricted in Vintage. It's insanely good.

I think a Magic end-game for me is to have a deck in foil Japanese cards like @wheeler.bsky.social has foil German cards.

With the announcement that they aren't going to be continuing to print Collector Boosters and Bundles for Foundations, I knew I needed to pull the trigger on a Llanowar Elves and a Doubling Season. I also knew that since I play the Elves in the Pile, I might as well go the extra distance.

Had the brilliant idea of talking to @cmassive13.bsky.social about his Betor deck, and now I want to build one.
Maybe use things like the Talisman cycle and Retreat to Kazandu to regulate my life total and bring back small creatures for value?

This was a perfect way to send off MagicCon Chicago. I've known everyone here for probably 6 years or so, and it was great just hanging out with them. 1/2

My playgroup is pretty well handled, so we probably aren't going to pay attention to the list of Game Changers. However, I think if I were to add one to the list, it's probably Cathars' Crusade.
