6/21, Los Angeles: A neighborhood volunteer documenting ICE was stopped by agents in an unmarked car, surrounded, and threatened by masked agents while they filmed him on their phones.

ICE arrested Job Garcia while he was running errands in LA. Job is a US citizen, a scholar, and a brilliant photographer. He’s also my friend. But none of that should determine his humanity.

ICE must release Job Garcia immediately.

I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles

This is huge. The Trump administration wants to vastly expand the practice of shipping people to random countries they have never been to before, and are now making this part of a threat; either the countries accept taking third country nationals, or they get banned from visas.

NBC News just confirmed that Trump's arrests are not targeting public safety threats. Only half have any criminal conviction or charge (and many of those are minor offenses, such as traffic or immigration crimes). Most of the media has been scammed by this White House already.
