I lived in two different East Side neighborhoods (the first on Rose). In both, there were at least three languages spoken on our block at all times. For a while on our current block we counted seven! Anyway, ICE isn't welcome here. Even our MAGA neighbor is bffs with the Mexican roofer neighbors.

For my money the pass was because of 1) hills and 2) triangles. Also, they may have made this choice before the election and I suspect Carter would be a huge "hell no" on this and the council would agree.

I read this to my garbanzo-loving middle schooler and included the tidbit about 21g person/day. She wanted to estimate her lifetime grams. She estimates she has eaten 1,192,100 grams of garbanzos (132,455/yr, counting her lower intake early years). So that's the number to beat, folks. Go!
