Insane. Climate change means more water and this mine has frequently had problems managing water. How has the province taken that into account, without measuring it?! And since the disaster, Imperial Metals gets to use Quesnel lake as its discharge dumping ground. This mine is an ongoing nightmare.

We should really resist normalizing this. And any Canadian leader who thinks they’re somehow ‘special’ and would fare better should think twice after this display of arrogance and narcissism.
