First - I argue that these “significant… consequences” are entirely intended, if not the primary goal.
Second - let’s specifically mention trans & other lgbtqia+ folks who have changed their names.

This poorly crafted legislation could have significant unintended consequences, potentially disenfranchising millions of legitimate voters, especially married women, minorities, and other marginalized groups.

My disappointment over this one is real. With the no-shop list growing longer by the day, it was nice to have one big-box store where I could go in a pinch. That said, I’m so happy to be shopping locally… & shopping less.

My mission to not waste a bit of food this year had me roasting butternut squash for burritos, pizzas, & risotto this morning. I also had enough for a huge pot of soup with plenty of toasted seeds for garnish. All of this (easily 8 meals) from two good-sized squashes that were on their way out.

Permanently deleted my Facebook account. No, I wasn’t really using it other than to get rid of a few items on the local garage sale site but it still feels so freeing knowing it no longer exists in the world.
