Well, this is was a joint venture, if that helps - Lines commissioned from @cybercatart.bsky.social - colour and lighting by myself, using the process I usually use for the comics.
Robotic jaguar Y-RAY as drawn by Cybercat, and coloured by myself. He has gloss black armour, red glowing eyes and baby-blue claws, which he chose the colour of himself. He has adopted a menacing crouch, which may or may not mean anything since he is a security guard and not a rampaging monster.

Jakob is reduced to tears by the revelation that Niall is Daryil's son and not his own descendant. The Professor watches, amused by Jakob's discomfort. Jakob: "Where does that leave us now, Niall? Now that Daryil is your father... Whatever you decide... I just... want you to know that I've always loved you, always tried to do the best for you, and I hope that we can still be close to each other..." Niall: "COME ON! You're being ridiculous! You think I'd storm out of Jayhawk and cut you out of my life, just because we got confused about who shagged who? YOU SAVED MY LIFE!" Niall: "Okay, so this is new and unexpected. I'm strangely pleased to learn that I'm the direct descendant of a Clan Leader. But Dad... Uh, I mean Jakob..." Niall: "You never claimed to be my father. You were my great-grandfather, or so we thought. But you ADOPTED ME. You became my father THEN, and this revelation doesn't change that. It leaves us just where we were before!" They hug each other tenderly, and then Daryil ruins it all. Daryil: "Of course, if you're not directly related, that opens the door for some nice hot-" Jakob and Niall: "NO!"

Modded Skyrim screenshot. The player, a dragon, watches with mild dismay as the dragon Nahagliiv tries his hardest to immolate the unruly girl Britte. This is because the player had swatted her earlier while she was bullying her sister. This marked her as an enemy of the player, and Nahagliiv, who had been patrolling the skies up until this point, decided she was a threat to me and had to be eliminated. This was made with Play-As-A-Dragon SE Modded Skyrim screenshot. The dragon Nahagliiv strafes Britte with flame in a dramatic fashion. She was being a brat, but this is perhaps an overreaction. Modded Skyrim screenshot, where the player, a khajiit wearing suspiciously shiny Dark Brotherhood armour, is standing on a building occupied by the dragon Krosulhah. The dragon truce provided by the Sweet-Roll-Devour mod has been enabled, and as a result, Krosulhah is staring at the player and saying "Dovahkiin, Thuri!" instead of the generic "Speak, if you have aught to say worth the listening" line. The striking part of this is that Krosulhah has craned his neck into an inverted U-shape and his head is upside-down as he considers the player. This was made with Play-As-A-Dragon SE and Sweet-Roll-Devour, plus the now-rare "AG Shiny Brotherhood skins" mod. One or both of the dragon mods has made the NPC dragons non-hostile.

I just dug out my copy of Foxtrot to see when the future section in "Get 'Em Out By Friday" was supposed to happen.
It was 2012. Which, to be fair, was 40 years ahead at the time, and I am glad they got that bit wrong.

Quirk's visor displays the word "KiLL" instead of his eye, alarming Xerian and Lautrec greatly. Quirk suddenly punches himself in the head, the display becomes garbled. Quirk: "STOPPIT!" His facial display starts returning to normal, and he does not look pleased. Quirk: "...Damn implants!" Xerian and Lautrec glance at each other uncertainly. Quirk: "I was built to be an assassin, but... I guess I didn't make the grade. Not sure what happened, but clearly I escaped being scrapped somehow." Lautrec: "Are you planning to assassinate my boss?! Because I am allowed to defend him with LETHAL FORCE!" Quirk: "I don't want to kill him, no! But the voices in my head say I SHOULD."

Having been warned that the Church is approaching with murder in mind, Jason, Josh and Keaton switch into 'Cubi mode. Jason: "NO KILLING, Keaton! We need to go. Josh, bring the laptop. I'll bar the door." Keaton: "Aww..." Tim reacts badly was their wings and headwings appear. Tim: "You - 'C-CUBI! MONSTERS!" Keaton: "Yeah. And before today's out, you'll be GLAD of that!" Tim panics as the Church can be heard outside, destroying his motorcycle Priest: "Send them all to the LORD! The monsters, the metal one, and the deviant who works here! You! Destroy the devil-machine on which he rides!" Tim: "My BIKE! That's the only way out! I don't want to die..!" Jason starts making his own way out, cutting the wall open with his wing-tentacles Jason: "Good! Then they won't be watching THIS side of the building!" Outside, Keaton casually snips the head off one of the church militia, causing Tim to faint. She catches him with a wing. Militia: "HERE! They-" Jason: "MUST you do that...?" Keaton: "YES. So let's get going before I'm sadly forced to lop off even more heads!" Keaton, hopefully: "...Or we could wait...?"

That is so. I made a hash of things while building him and it became part of his character. There are approximately 200 unique protogens all called 'glitch' but 'Quirk' is barely used

Who are you, and what do you want?" Quirk: "Sorry, I thought you were from THEM. I'm Quirk." Quirk: "...Kuh..." Quirk's visor suddenly displays the word "KiLL". Mermul is still curled up behind his wings and sobbing about the end of the world, so Fiskul tries to cheer him up. Fiskul: "Look, I'll let you in on a little secret. The end of the world was foretold, just like you said. If I'm responsible for ending it, I must know the exact date of the End Times, right...?" Fiskul: "Well, in your calendar - starting from the first signing of the Pax Draconica, the day of reckoning is the year 750, a bit after tea. We don't want everyone to die on an empty stomach, do we?" Mermul pokes his head out from behind his wings Mermul: "Wait... Wait... WHAT did you say...?" Fiskul: "I said, 'We don't want everyone to die on an empty stomach, do we?' Even a prisoner facing execution gets a last meal!" Memul: "Not THAT! The YEAR! When the world ends! WHEN DID YOU SAY IT WAS...?" Fiskul: "OH! 750. Seven Five Oh. THAT is the Last Year, the Date of Destiny! End of the World, at 7:50 PM sharp." Mermul: "...But Fiskul... it's 1982." Fiskul: "EXACTLY! Devour the world is a big responsibility, one that should have been given to someone else... If they were serious about it, at least."

Apparently it largely contained fliers for Dimmu Borgir's 2007 album, "In Sorte Diaboli". Pity it wasn't "Spiritual Black Dimensions" because that one kicks ass.

During the pony meet (I think) someone turned up with a blahaj shark tied up, probably from the Rope Workshop panel. With the blue rope, the shark now has all the colours to make up the trans pride flag. Night-time shot of the orbs all lit up and some people walking towards one of them. Daytime shot of the lawn with two orbs visible. A fursuiter is standing between two of them holding a nerf gun as the nerf battle is about to start. A box of frogs. If he manages to create a better sandwich than the one he's showing off on his back, the old one will be discarded and replaced. The sandwich is magically preserved to prevent it spoiling, and it is considered very bad form for another dragon to eat it without permission.

Now this is interesting - people who have known me a long, long time may remember "Javelin", a DOS game I wrote in the mid 90s. But few know that it was started on the BBC Micro.
So I did finish this one too, after several attempts.

BBC Micro screenshot: Original prototype for what later became "Javelin", which was the codename for the project, but stuck. The screenshot shows a concorde-like aircraft having made an emergency landing in a forest. The aim of the game was to repair it and fly home. The original title of the game was going to be "ConCorde" - as with "ConFusion" the 'con' referring to a confidence trick. There was, I seem to recall, a GWBASIC version of Javelin at one point but it's probably lost. It didn't get far until I wrote the EGA version to teach myself Borland C++. It used the BGI graphics library, and didn't run very quickly on the target hardware (a 286 PC). Screenshot from the final iteration of Javelin, which was written for DOS and completed around 1996. It's available on the IT-HE website and I did an experimental port to 64-bit linux on my github somewhere. This now has 256 colour graphics with my own custom-written graphics library (ITG), and the plane is now a scan of a photo of a TU-144 which we got from somewhere.

Another rescued BBC Micro game - Jexel. This one I faintly recall - rather than program a smooth jump, I made him teleport two squares above and drop, but the levels use this mechanic as a puzzle game. If you get stuck, you press D, I & E to lose a life. But I never implemented "game over".

Another rescued BBC Micro game - Jinx. I don't remember writing it at all, but it used a map editor. Unfortunately it takes 57 seconds to load each map, far long than solving each puzzle. It's clearly imitating PC text mode graphics, so I may have stolen the idea from someone else.

It simply says "Jinx" in Mode 7 text. Doesn't even say that I wrote it, which is atypical.

Of possible interest to @dhscomix.com I also found the original GHOTI program, which somewhat lampooned an advert with the slogan "We like seafish, momma" or something.

I think my brother wrote this. Judging from the spelling he was playing silly buggers with the phoneme parser.
Source listing for the "Ghoti" program for !SPEECH on the BBC Micro. It exploited the fact that if you made it say "fish" and "ghoti" they would both render as "fish" but at different pitches.
