I threw a bunch of the ebooks on sale for a dollar! It was a pain to do and I am already looking at plugins so I never have to do it again.

One of the small joys of writing is the weird things I get to look up that spiral into research sessions into very niche topics I now keep in my head looking for an opportunity to talk about before I forget about it.

Put all the books up on itch and I now I continue to stare at all my game projects and contemplate what to start working on that's more appropriate for the platform.

Oh wow, this d2d migration is turning my accounts into an absolute mess. Maybe just get my books through me directly so I can stop dealing with this chaos?
The only time I sell a book through there is libraries anyway, so maybe it's not worth cleaning up.

I'll give the 20k robot people this: With a robot that looks like that I 100% expected the demos to just be a guy in a robot suit so that the robot at least looked useful

Probably for the best I stopped writing YA because I love a main character with flaws that get in their way and are not fixed by the end of the story. Those are their emotional support flaws.

It's been so weird watching the progression of "This is what I am reading in the text" to "This is what the text is saying because that's how I read it" over the years. I don't know how much is changing language to cater to algorithmic popularity versus how people interact with media now.

I always write stories that have all this background information that is important and difficult to exposit, but I've really outdone myself this time. Maybe I'll let myself have a prologue this time as a treat. #authorsky

I am in a place where I'm nervous about my books suddenly becoming popular because if they do, I risk losing my benefits. I'd be screwed because there's no way I could maintain that bump permanently with my health how it is.

Turns out the trick to getting Linux installed (On a partition, there's too much it can't run that I still use) is for me to just avoid reading Reddit or going near any Linux community.
