I really need all these shipping companies to give me the option to make them hand over packages to Canada Post so that I can actually receive things.

I threw a bunch of the ebooks on sale for a dollar! It was a pain to do and I am already looking at plugins so I never have to do it again.

One of the small joys of writing is the weird things I get to look up that spiral into research sessions into very niche topics I now keep in my head looking for an opportunity to talk about before I forget about it.

Put all the books up on itch and I now I continue to stare at all my game projects and contemplate what to start working on that's more appropriate for the platform.

Anyone know if Purolator will let me pick up a package addressed to my cat? Or how to make Purolator actually attempt a delivery instead of just leave the door tag and running for it?

Oh wow, this d2d migration is turning my accounts into an absolute mess. Maybe just get my books through me directly so I can stop dealing with this chaos?

The only time I sell a book through there is libraries anyway, so maybe it's not worth cleaning up.

I may be stable, but I still have less energy than my senior cat with a heart condition.

JFC is hard to keep shopping at Canadian grocery stores when the same cart of items costs literally half at Walmart.

Just started reading Ripe by Sarah Rose Etter and it is giving me uncomfortable flashbacks to working in tech. I'm hoping this turns Cronenberg before I start getting nightmares about the day job. #booksky

I'll give the 20k robot people this: With a robot that looks like that I 100% expected the demos to just be a guy in a robot suit so that the robot at least looked useful

Probably for the best I stopped writing YA because I love a main character with flaws that get in their way and are not fixed by the end of the story. Those are their emotional support flaws.

It's been so weird watching the progression of "This is what I am reading in the text" to "This is what the text is saying because that's how I read it" over the years. I don't know how much is changing language to cater to algorithmic popularity versus how people interact with media now.

Why must you demand belly rubs in a spot that is hard to give you belly rubs? #caturday

It's okay if a prologue just makes things more confusing, right?

My symptoms are stable for the first time since I got sick and I can't share this joy with anyone because the expectation is that joy is reserved for a cure. #longcovid

Once more I have a bunch of proof copies of books and no idea what to do with them. #booksky

I always write stories that have all this background information that is important and difficult to exposit, but I've really outdone myself this time. Maybe I'll let myself have a prologue this time as a treat. #authorsky

I am in a place where I'm nervous about my books suddenly becoming popular because if they do, I risk losing my benefits. I'd be screwed because there's no way I could maintain that bump permanently with my health how it is.

I haven't done any software development since 2018, so why am I still having nightmares about code reviews?

True Plantser on my end. I may love outlining, but I also love not following that outline so much
Q1: Since we're talking about plot, we figured it would be fun to see how you plot! Based on this nifty chart, what is your plotting/writing style alignment? #WeeknightWriters

I'll be 40 tomorrow, which feels like too high of a number. Being bed/house bound does weird things to your perception of time, I guess.

Anyway, I want the same thing for my birthday as every year. For people to read my books.

Turns out the trick to getting Linux installed (On a partition, there's too much it can't run that I still use) is for me to just avoid reading Reddit or going near any Linux community.
