On plane in Phoenix next for takeoff when ground stop happened for a haboob. First time experiencing this. We saw it coming then total blackout then sheets of rain and now a good old fashioned thunderstorm. Don’t think we will be getting home tonight. Ugh.

After taking care of Lemon for 8 years, he lost his battle to his continuous health issues. We adopted him from a shelter after his previous owner surrendered him. She couldn’t afford his medical bills. We did everything we could to give him the best life possible. We miss you little buddy.

Actually it’s 2 brown tabbies, 2 tuxedo cats that we rescued in NJ and flew to CA, 1 orange tabby that we rescued in Seattle because his owner couldn’t afford his vet bills, 1 feisty female Calico from Oakland CA who broke her hip, and finally 1 bi-color who we rescued in Palm Desert from coyotes.
