Also, Palpatine has all the comfy beds in a giant comfy bed warehouse and he skips around at night, selecting one to use. Sometimes he gets lost in there and he doesn't care at all. Stormtroopers supply him with tea and toast and vacuum up the crumbs with a tiny handheld vac. He's living the dream.
