I'm turning this into a quickfire media/content review channel because I feel like it.
Everything will receive an S+ to F rating and choice comments.
All content (YT, Spotify, Netflix, etc.) over 20 mins total length is eligible. Have a nice day.
Better when they're not fucking and just talking imo. I'm here for a back and forth of words not partners. I did not comprehend the new man's arc at all.
Overall, tidies up some of the silliness of S2 with a more reasonable ending this time and some terrific monologues.

It certainly lived up to the name as it threw me around and slammed me down multiple times in a row. No one could be left untouched by this and it undoubtedly earns its reputation. An incredible piece of music and art and incredible discussion of what cost that music and art is worth

Actually watched a somewhat spooky movie for Halloween and a good fit it was too. Very clearly beautifully made and special as its own creative work with some delightful eccentricity that'll scare some away maybe but lure others in.
New meme origin unlocked 🤠

Pretty much the whole train sequence, especially the end, bumped this up like two ratings. I don't think I've ever seen an action scene like it. But otherwise it was pretty standard action, pew pew gun, scram scram knife stuff
We all know real SI will be generative tho 🤠

One of those wow films, just wow. And I can't really say a darn thing because you should have the purest experience. So, easy review for me I guess.
It leaves Netflix in a week so watch it this weekend even maybe?

This gave me good Blade Runner vibes and while stylistically it didn't reach the same highs, narratively this one was an excellent whirl and deserves the references it receives.
You can't really go wrong with sci-fi tech+its consequences.
All the ads/PP was also funny.

I don't know how they made the fur look so wonderfully fluffy – Agnes would love it.
Its marrying of a coming of age and generational tradition/family story is handled well, even if maybe it ends a little too happily to remain realistic (based on what I've heard from friends).

Spent every episode begging for Chuu screen time, was otherwise reasonably entertained. Didn't really explore the potential ethical or moral avenues but what did I expect? Peaked in the middle and dipped whenever the rich woman and long haired man were on screen.

This film was not made for me.
While I like its inclusions of the game world I still look back very fondly on, ultimately, Nintendo did it better with a film that worked well for all.

Quite beautifully paced with the relationship between the two leads equally beautifully developed. Fun camera work sprinkled in and a really touching story that doesn't shy away from the Korean reality, and maybe still even rose tints it a bit...

I just love their accents and the head nun at the school.
Not much more for me to say – great, funny watching with flashes of the time and conflict coming through thoughtfully throughout.

I feel like this season started off stronger than it finished after an amazing first episode and very good next two, to me at least it seemed to withdraw a little. It's still very good but the end especially didn't feel particularly wrapped up as everything gets procrastinated.

A fun take on Groundhog day (which is very dear to me) which I intended as a silly watch but actually surprised me with what it was saying sometimes. There are several ways to tell this is the 'modern' incarnation 🔞😶🌫️ Shame the goat didn't pull through

High octane sci-fi concept fun with standout episodes in Valkyrick, Nomortland, and Hot Rick that unite their humour, story, and message (if present) wonderfully. Not quite a Fear No Mort level of a finisher but they've clearly still got it in the writing department.

This season just takes the 1st and raises the bar for evrythg, somehow topping even S1's star with an insane hour-long stress-fest while also including the most touching episodes to date. All still beautifully shot, esp. the pasta. One day, I want to be able to afford this...

Arcane-levels of animation from a studio that's found its groove after the Spidermans with an admittedly quite groovy soundtrack.
It's not much on top of that but hey that's okay. And it's all English so no scary subs to scare the viewers

Starts off a bit slower but every shot of food is beautiful and the final two episodes of the season are each outstanding, yet in completely different ways. It stresses me out, delights me, and comforts me in equal measure while centred on food and people – what's not to love?

This had the relationshipness Superman was missing and cooler set design but was much more traditionally Marvel coded (and hence predictable) with the classic escalating disaster problem.
Less cinematically pretty than Superman I thought too and dog > baby any day.

This is the 16hr medium's best: to live a full life, of springs and winters and everything in between such that, by the end, you have too. While sometimes time may move a little slower, it is never any less beautiful or poetic.

Crazy to think that there are/were at the time men genuinely like that blonde guy.
Also, I've no idea what to take away from this film other than opinions I already had, I thought for a few moments throughout wrongly, but then it sought to agree with me afterall so...?

I was well entertained for 2 hours with a film that was pretty much what I expected. Left the cinema content – DC has found its MCU era. Lacks some relationship-ness tho
I would, of course, have preferred a cat but I understand that market forces deem such a choice impossible 😿.

This film remains near perfect for me in its beauty, its spectacle, its story. While the visuals came close, none of the disaster trilogy ever topped this.
The score plays in my heart and flows through me like time, I can never forget this film or its resonance with me.

No film I think can drive home the injustice of war any better than this one. By staying close to home we get a perspective that's direct and unflinching and reaches right into your core. The music helps with that you could say 😭

Similarly to Barbara, I wonder if perhaps my brain is not big enough to comprehend this film It has some interesting discussions in there (near the end) and some moments of satire but I feel it doesn't do anything with it and just confuses me

Dark and unflinching, I can see the tragedy that persists through to Parasite. Atmosphere and performances are expertly crafted and delivered alongside the score but ultimately I miss a take away memory to hold on to
altho one might argue that's exactly the point...
