Here are some pics. Apparently it was so hot in Taree that they had to slow the trip. Both legs of the journey arrived about 2.5 hours late to their respective destination.
Out the window of the Sydney to Brisbane train, near Gosford. Beautiful coastline, followed by sub tropical fern forest, followed by plains and gum trees. User Talzir appears in the reflection. User Talzir (sleepy) on the botanical gardens side of the Sydney Opera House. The weather is gorgeous at this point (32’C) but peaked at 39’C later that afternoon 🥵. I had 6 hours in Sydney as part of the transit, ate an amazing vege curry pasty and had a good leg stretching walk. Benalla (I think) Station at 01:23 in the morning. Rail Tram and Bus Union sticker located in the Buffet Carriage. Hell yeah transit workers!

I have a vision! I would like to see them be the mascot for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

Orange Day in the lab yesterday.

Pademelons are small marsupials in the genus Thylogale, found in Australia and Aru, Kai plus New Guinea islands. They are some of the smallest members of the macropod family, which includes the similar-looking but larger kangaroos and wallabies.

Melted my first Tellerium-124 target disk last week and looked cute!
It’s me - maxi-length black slip dress, screen-printer cyber-sigilism light-blue cut-off oxford-shirt and lil hat. I’m taking at bathroom selfie at the Brunswick Library. Freshly melted and crystallised Tellerium Oxide target disk for Iodine-124 preparation by proton irradiation. The hat is from Beyond Bricks and Bars - a local organisation that supports incarcerated trans people to access gender affirming care - they are amazing!

Colour testing an idea for Festival of the Photocopier and honestly just having fun with it.

I've been setting up a goodreads for myself, for no reason in particular, but it's been making me reminisce on the books that have made an impact in my life!
