For awhile, the delivery date just kept getting pushed until it stuck at yesterday, then once the day was over the tracking said I would get a new delivery date as soon as my package starts moving. So…what’s the plan here? I’ve heard of customers getting bills that are 200% what they originally paid

Like the fact that a lot of the negative reviews of Materialists basically boiled down to “it’s a bad movie because I would have chosen Pedro Pascal.” But that’s not the movie Celine Song set out to make and the movie is about much more than who she chooses in the end.

I was not worried at all about AI in art (i.e. Joan is Awful) because I naively had faith in audiences getting bored or wanting to be surprised, but lately a lot of the discussion around TV and movies has really worried me. I’m hearing a lot of “That’s not what I would do/what I like”.

Sure. But that discounts the time they couldn’t produce anything during the GLOBAL PANDEMIC and the TWO STRIKES.
Season 3 came out mid-2019. They probably thought they had all the time in the world to produce S4. Then the pandemic hit.
They made S4 and were all set to produce S5 before the strikes

3 years to do the last two seasons because, again, there was a global pandemic and two strikes that kept them from making anything.
And yes, 3 years is a long time for 2 seasons, but it’s also a big show with actors who have had success in other projects that they’ve also had to work around.
