I declare myself done with Gran Turismo 2. It's a fun physics engine to mess around with, but I really wish it was better at putting the player in races with like-powered vehicles. I'm hoping GT3 will be better about that, though I might also check out the GT2 A-Spec mod in more detail. #RetroGaming

I've been working through the first four Gran Turismo games for a while now, and I've only got the endurance races left for GT2. I'm not in a 2 hour mood at them moment, should I just move to GT3?

When a game says [Press Any Key], I like to test it with escape. Modifier keys, too. If the prompt specifies a key, you better believe I'll press anything but. This is my personal rebellion against tyranny! They can't tell me what to do! I'll play their game how I want to! (actually <3 devs though)

I've played a bit of this game and cannot recommend it enough if you're into physics sandbox kinda games. Excellent vibes. I put more of my early thoughts in a review on Steam, linked here:

I know, it's been said a thousand times and I'm just another greybeard yelling into the void about a retro game, but the complete loss of artistry and atmosphere in CE Anniversary's graphics is astonishing every single time I see them.

I don't even know when, but I disabled the "Discover" feed ages ago. My interactions with Bluesky are thus blissful: I log on a couple times a day, see my handful of follows in chronological order, maybe stop by my feeds of moss, mushrooms, retro games, and cool art. It's very cozy. Highly recommend
