Today is National Coming Out Day & on this day in 2003, my Mom came out to me as a Lesbian, despite fear & anxiety over my potential reaction. I welcomed her with open arms & accepted her with love. Now, 12 years later, I came out to her as Trans, & she has given me the very same acceptance 💗

17 years ago today, my father, Richard Meza, passed away due to combined heart & kidney failure at the age of 62. As I have for every year since he died, I dedicate this meal, his favorite sandwich, to him. Love you & miss you always, Dad. Your spirit forever lives on ❤️⚓️
