Excellent piece on Miller on habeas. Far superior to the surprisingly both-sides-ish coverage by some media.

What Miller is claiming the power to do isn’t questionable or dubious. It would be anti-constitutional usurpation.

148. Suspending Habeas Corpus
In response to adverse rulings in numerous immigration cases, Stephen Miller is raising the specter of suspending habeas. His argument is factually and legally nuts, but it's worth explaining *why.*

Christiane Amanpour’s reaction to the Oval Office ambush has me shook. I feel like she’s seen it all.

I think she knows this was staged because Trump and Vance don’t want peace unless Putin gets it all.

You do realize we've never had presidents threaten to wipe blue OR red states off the map, and if you support a president who does whether their politics line up with yours or not—you're kind of a sh*tty human being and a lousy American, right?

Talkin’ Bout A Revolution

It sounds like a whisper

While they’re standing in the welfare lines

Crying at the doors of those armies of salvation

Wasting time in unemployment lines

Sittin’ around waiting for a promotion

Don’t you know?

Talkin’ about a Revolution

During the preliminary injunction hearing on the trans military ban the following exchange between Judge Reyes and the DOJ attorney occurred.

IANAL, but if the judge calls your central argument "pretext" and "ridiculous" during the preliminary hearing, I don't think things are going well for you.
