Actually had the time and wherewithal to put out some of my Hallowe’enly figures this year! Realized partway through posting that showing these off would mean you could see many of my Blu-Rays and DVD discs, which feels oddly vulnerable for some inscrutable brain reason!

I was like “wait, why did a deskfan company donate a 1/4 mill to the Cuomo campaign” and it turns out that Vornado is a realty company that bought the fan company, renamed itself after the fan company, stopped making fans, and then licensed the name to a different fan company, but also kept using it

I’ve been mulling on it a bit, and I think the reason “Star Optimus Prime” doesn’t scan right is that ‘star’ and ‘convoy’ are both English words that Takara thought sound cool and exotic; “Star Convoy” is a title and name in the same style. “Star Optimus Prime” is a clash of styles. —

Not “changed my mind” exactly, but a few months back I posted this as a joke, but the success of progressive ballot measures and state politicians despite the same voters electing Trump has made it less of a joke than I thought it was.
