Time for another reference dump!

This zip file contains 2,566 photos (6.58 GB) from the Metropolitan Museum of Art arms and armor collection. I tried to focus on the types of details you don't see in most available reference, like hinges and fasteners.

How did Hobbits build their houses??

Boulet est assis sur sa chaise de bureau, téléphone à la main. Boulet (in petto): "Bon, mon rendez-vous est à 11h30, c'est bien, pas besoin de mettre un réveil !" Voix off: "NON ! NON !" On voit la matérialisation du cerveau de Boulet qui flotte à côté de lui. Cerveau: "Le rendez-vous est à 11h30, et c'est à 15 minutes d'ici. Si tu veux être sûr d'être à l'heure, il faut partir à 11h. Boulet (toujours fixant son téléphone): "Bah, ça reste cool, je..." Cerveau: "Non non non ! Le temps de faire un café, de prendre une douche, il faut rajouter une heure. Plus un peu de marge pour lire tes mails. Il faut être CERTAIN d'être debout avant 10h." Soudain son cerveau surgit en hurlant: "RÉVEILLE-TOI ! JE CROIS QUE LE RÉVEIL N'A PAS SONNÉ OH MON DIEU ON A RATÉ LE RENDEZ-VOUS RÉVEILLE-TOI !" Boulet, les yeux exorbités de terreur, lâche un "HHHHHHH" paniqué. Boulet est debout dans sa cour intérieure, l'air endormi, un café à la main. Il fait encore nuit, la lune luit dans le ciel. Boulet sort son téléphone. Celui-ci indique 07:09 Texte off: Ça va, je devrais être à l'heure.
