#WIP I Wasn't planning on working on a Sentinel, but had a paint day with a friend and wanted to try something new, so I experimented with some cold weather camo. Not sure how I like it. Yet, But I'll wait until it's done to pass judgement.

I finished the test scheme for my Erzdrie regiment. Here's a comparison of a fully shaded and highlighted Cadian next to one that just has base colors. What a difference, even at my average skill level!

I don't know why, but something about doing skin details before blocking out the rest of the colors is really satisfying, like it's giving me a glimpse into the finished model. It's not perfect, but I can feel myself getting better.

I haven't had as much time to work on this as I'd like, but I think it's time to move on to painting (after some mold line cleaning). Each Kommando Boy now has something to Beast Snaggafy them, some more than others. The Nob even has this awesome new claw!

The Snaggafication of my Kommandos is well under way. Slasha Boy worked hard for that hide, of course he's going to wear it.

Pay no head to the mold lines. They'll be gone before priming.

The Kommandos kit is fantastic, no notes, but I'm going to tweak them a bit to get a little extra cohesion with my Beast Snagga Orks. Maybe I can even paint them up before #Orktober ends!

The best way to figure out what works for you is to try it. Today I'm experimenting with basing, static grass vs tuft and turf. I think it's a real "Both? Both is good." situation.

Finally got my resin printer up and running again, and my first print is a prototype hex base to meet some of my personal wants. A few details to work out, but I like it thus far. Slot for 10mm disc magnets, anyone? Warhammer for reference only, official CGL plastic.

Had to cancel a game of #BattleTech today due to a sinus infection, so I challenged myself to paint a 'Mech start-to-finish before days end (On top of everything else I had to get done today). Sure it's just a Locust. Yes, some compromises were made. Still calling it a win.
