Meanwhile the US spend almost twice as much on healthcare as Canada, with worse results.
They spend about 5% more GDP on healthcare than any other developed country.
US healthcare CEOs are definitely eating better than the government... or healthcare workers... or patients.

Well that's the dumbest thing I've read this week.
The full article is indeed every bit as stupid as the title.
It's just making stuff up, like guessing that 50% of Medicaid spending is on bureaucracy... More factual sources put administrative costs at 4-6%, less than half of private insurances.

Nuclear power generation has not actually declined in total numbers, but it has stagnated while total power generation has increased.

But this is the scary part: Trump voters EXPECT their CIA appointments to politically prosecute and harm minorities and opposition.
So when they come under pressure for their general incompetence, they're incentivised to lash out at innocents.

In their defense, at least some of the goals were simplified enough to be fairly solvable with traditional image processing algorithms. Certainly tough to debug and run on 1966 hardware, but it can be done.

My superficial impression of average Facebook users is that they already lack the mental acuity to tell or care if they're communicating with real people or bots.

I noticed such a case with a study on the full-system costs of grids with renewable energies recently.
Preprint only looked at 100% solar and wind, which was twice as expensive as 100% nuclear.
Published version added a 95% scenario, in which renewables and nuclear were evenly matched in some grids.

Mick West and Metabunk usually have good responses to alleged UFO/drone sightings. They're very knowledgeable in optical illusions and missconceptions.
Multiple sightings could already be matched to specific aircraft flight plans.
And TV probably misstook a star for a "drone"...

I want a character selection screen that gives a good crosssection of all possible looks, so naturally white skin is a minority.

The character selection this guy is asking for would just be 50 copies of these two dudes 😂
