We pay an enormous price in educating children by standardizing what they learn, so we can rank them on poorly-constructed standardized tests. Kids have such distinctive interests, and will soar if empowered to pursue that they’re curious about.

GPT is crushing every high-stakes education exam that comes in its path. This has profound implications for what kids learn, and how they are assessed. Every school is on notice. Boundless opportunity for those who leverage AI. But chasing it on low-level skills is pure idiocy.
