Physical therapy after tendon surgery is the most intensely incremental process I've ever been involved in. There are no breakthrough moments, just a little bit of improvement each week. Western culture did not raise me to expect things like this.

This sort of thing is happening more and more often, and only occasionally does it make the news. The US government represents neither the interests nor the values of the American public at this point. And yet they have the authority to enforce their will.

What do you even say in a moment this dark? Hang in there. Look after your people. Reach out for help. Know that darkness is not forever. Everyone and everything we can save is worth saving. May we live to see brighter days.

There were five Canadians on the active roster for the MN Frost at the end of last season. All of them are now playing for PWHL Vancouver. Fans may be underestimating the importance of the border as they try to understand why players are making the choices they are making in free agency.
