If you are MTF...you are still allowed to use herbal scented actual cleansers. Also use an SPF and shampoo your beard

if you're MTF! Hydrate, SPF, moisturise, retinol are the basics (unless you're a teenager, skip the retinol). Remember oil and water don't mix; if your foundation is looking janky it's probably you using an x base with a y serum. This can't really be fixed by powder

I refuse to draw any ladder up after me, if you can save up for the good shit use it for the base, hydrate, use a retinoid, use a moisturiser, use SPF (not in winter in the UK) and this should apply regardless of gender

and that's normal and a basic part of pre-tik tok/insta growing up as a girl. My mum didn't use makeup so when I was trying really hard to fit in I'd watch endless youtube tutorials (shout out to Nikki before she was outed and Lisa Eldrige) - this is the passing on of the good shit

dad says he *thinks* it is hand-drawn lettering, I pointed out the exact duplication of the weight of the horizontal part of the L and the up-swoop of the 1, and now he's just typing (he was never a comic book letterer, but his housemate was, he just drew them, and we all used letraset)

Several pieces are unphotographable, truly, much like Rothko you need to see them in person. The way he renders water is so gorgeous. The way he depicts agency is beautiful and defiant; the fact he paints 'romance rather than breeding' with all the tender pinks of 18C Frenchness is stunning
