The other day, I visited an exhibition that left me speechless.
It shows women who lost their sons and husbands in the war.

I’m sharing part of it with a poem that played during the video.
I added English subtitles. For you.

Please watch. And share. So others can see too.

Fantastic to see @c2crail.bsky.social naming a train after local musical legend Wilko Johnson! Wilko was, of course, a member of Dr Feelgood, as well as playing with others. More recently he also appeared in Game of Thrones!

Wonderful to see him recognised like this. Well done c2c!

The MP for Southend East & Rochford, Bayo Alaba, will be holding a public meeting on the future of the Kursaal at 19.00 on 24 June, at Belle Vue Church.

Bayo has already been in contact with the leaseholder, AEW, and meetings are forthcoming. But it's important to hear from residents.

Tonight, the Snow Moon rises. 🌕❄️

Named for February’s deep snows, this full moon was also called the Storm Moon or Ice Moon in Old English, reflecting winter’s cold grip.

Look below its glow tonight, and you may spot Regulus...one of the brightest stars in the sky.

What’s this inferiority complex Trump is peddling in America? MAGA? America is a great country in many ways but is more likely to be diminished by his policies. Keep America a country with heart!
