I think acting like pretending this court’s reasoning is based on legal arguments gives away too much. Of course it’s nonsensical, it’s not real. It’s really just going through the motions to find some rationalizations to make their bad faith acceptable. Much like Trump’s nonsense, it’s all the same

Ok. Now, I’m not an apologist for KL. But that style of macaroni and cheese is what I grew up with, and what I still prefer. Could it be better? Assuredly, she needs more cheese & breadcrumbs. But the roux+cheese+macaroni style is just too much. (This is proof some of OK identifies w the Midwest).

But regardless, Miller is wrong. Our strength lies in taco trucks, in mosques, in immigrants. The fact the merchants of fear cringe from that doesn’t diminish its truth. New blood, fresh ideas, that’s the path to success. And ultimately even the cowards know it.

And the problem with that has been laid bare by the current gang of wreckers. They straight up lie, over and over, about what we actually are. And every source of truth they can find has been corrupted by money and power. So the ideas, the concept, has been corrupted. That can be fixed, but only 2/

Except they’ve weaponized not doing it w trans people. Because they can. Another social norm they’ve distorted around their own ego. From deadnaming to DOGE, while the rest of us have to dance to their song.

This is gonna sound stupid, but it works for me: drink more water. I know, I know. But it helps me when I’m dry like this. My situation is different, but all I can say is it helps.

The only real ‘bar’ that existed in the small town I lived in in OK when I first came back had an OTB attached to it. But it was super weird, almost no one ever participated, and they’d shut down at abt 5pm or so. I always thought they coexisted for some kind of legality issue, rather than profit
