I never went back to say that I finished the game on the Saturday 09/11. Mindblown. There are many things I loved and many I didn't, but overall I really enjoyed it. I do think I need to process everything before I write a detailed opinion, if I end up doing that.

I'm staying out of twitter and sky as much as possible to avoid spoilers but I can't wait to finish the game so I can finally read what people is saying!

I have to make an honorary mention to the codex entry I found (don't know when, I had many left to read so did not realise) of Solas's letter to Lavellan talking about his regrets and how he wanted to go with her. I'm dying to see their reunion.

Still, I know I still have more crying to go (and I have luckily remained spoiler free so idk what's coming for me). I think I will play a bit more tonight and the rest over tomorrow and maybe sunday? I'm honestly not sure of how much of the game I have left at this point, so we'll see.

And it actually makes so much sense in retrospect. One of my complaints I was going to mention at my analysis after finishing the game was going to be how he was always in the infirmary, barely present, not interacting with anyone else...damn.

Then got to Varric...oh god. I have never cried so much playing a videogame. I had to stop playing after for other reasons but I would have had to pause playing after that anyways. Seeing his death and understanding everything...

Bellara...kidnapped? Alive I hope? Davrin and Assan dead. And I was actually coping okay. Then we got to Solas and getting into his prison. Quite surprised, but okay, keep going.

Haven't been updating my feelings on the last few days, so just gonna keep it simple. Got all the companions support, did most of the side quests, maxed out all the factions and their shops and got ready for starting the quest that gets to Act 3. That happened a few hours ago.

And more importantly, I'M OFFICIALLY A NEVE KISSER! I'm so happy and can't wait to see more of her romance stuff.

I do wonder how long I have left of the game though. I hope lots, but I'm not so sure.

Back to work this week, but yesterday managed to do one main quest, killed two dragons in the process, and then some side quests and friendship stuff. I like how even some side quests feel very important and related to the main story.

To wrap up, met Lavellan last night, I love her to pieces. Can't wait to see when she faces Solas. And about him, that "love" from Mythal? And Taash comments about it? Amazing. And Morrigan's info about her...not that surprised, but cool to know.

Btw, the long hair was feeling a bit...unnatural? Tried different things, but I settled in this kind of "the world is ending so I cut my hair" haircut I guess. I think she looks quite slay. Rook reveal number 2 I guess?

I love the drawings that come up as closure of certain missions, narrated by Varric, and in Solas's regrets. Kuddos to whoever got that idea.

And then, Neve. My god, no words for her. Rook and her almost kissed today and I'm loving their dynamic.

Weisshaupt was very cool and kept me tense the whole time. Ghilan'nain's design is spectacular and I can't wait to see more of her. I have also seen all of Solas's regrets which was quite interesting, and now the Lighthouse is looking cooler.

But the story, THE STORY. I'm not even sure in which part I am and how much I have left, but it's just...so good. Way more missions feel like they matter for the main plotline, and I can say that I'm loving playing without a guide. Cannot wait to see the consequences of my actions, I guess!

Some things that I'm not loving so far: one, that the jumping and running are just a bit strange? Maybe it's just me that keeps pressing wrong things, idk. I'd also apreciate some guidance about the level of the missions to not end up in front of a level 50 dragon by accident. Totally didn't happen.

So much has happened this weekend! I'm eating the game up, I'm obsessed and I wish I could play it 24/7. Unfortunately, back to work tomorrow after three days of barely leaving my pc, bless my girlfriend for putting up with me. It's cute to see her so invested in the story though 🩷

It feels so strange to be doing this without a guide at all, which is something I had never done. It's scary but also refreshing I'd say?

I'm just constantly worried about if I'm doing the quests on the right order or if I will mess something up by doing one before another jslwkfisnd we'll see.
