Thank you to the nuclear decay creating the molten rock beneath our feet that creates the planet size magnet we live on that deflects the radiation from the star size fusion reaction that’s been going for billions of years. Thank you for the light show and radiation shielding.

Did you know, that the Dodge RAM, and Ford Ranger Raptor and PHEV #utes in #Australia DO NOT have an ANCAP safety rating! the Ranger is the best selling car in Australia!

just thinking, when i got my first #EV, with a 80Km range at the time, there was only 1, yes, just a single EV DC fast charger in the entire #Sydney basin. was a NRMA 50Kw unit at Strathfield.
had no issues with charging...

SunDrive just secured $25.3M in federal funding to scale copper-based solar cell tech. Copper 100x cheaper and 1000x more abundant than silver, could cut solar install costs by 30%.pilot cells already beat commercial standards, now scaling to 300MW with help from ARENA at the Sydney plant. #auspol

The HiLux FCEV is coming in 2028. It’s got 134kW, 600km range, and 3 hydrogen tanks which is great if you live at a hydrogen station. Spoiler: you don’t. It’s like buying a jet ski in the Simpson Desert. The BEV HiLux arrives in 2026 and just plugs into a wall.

The media keeps pushing the lie that fossil fuels are cheaper than renewables. They’re not. CSIRO and AEMO show solar and wind are far cheaper. The fossil fuel lobby funds the lie, and half our grid’s already renewable. The transition’s happening, like it or not.

where my #Evs are just a fad bots?
Australia’s EV market hits 9.7% highest ever.
ACT: petrol cars now <50% of sales.
NSW & VIC: below 69%. The combustion engine is losing ground. #auspol can we stop the fossil fuel subsidies and spend that $$ on roads now?

Toyota C-HR BEV, their smallest and likely cheapest electric car
Built on dedicated EV underpinnings,
Expected Australia sometime in 2027 By then, most rivals will be on their second or third refresh. hey, if you’re going to be late, at least be Toyota-late with a press release and a promise.

As we head into summer, remember to keep combustion vehicles away from dry grass as they have a tendency to do this.🔥
This happened in NZ and 28 vehicles were damaged. Hopefully combustion cars won't cause too many forest fires this season.

is it just a co-incidence that those who decided it was a good idea to vote and kick millions off health care, were all not up for re-election next cycle?

Australia’s EV market is booming, from 0.1% in 2018 to 12.1% projected in 2025. The FBT exemption is the unsung hero, making EVs affordable for everyday Aussies. Extend it to 2035 and we could halve transport emissions #auspol #climateaction
