If you've already participated in State of the Creator in past years, it's probably already in your inbox.

But if not and you're a creator, reach out from your creator profile and we'll follow back and DM you the survey link.

Also want to note that we're thrilled to have everyone be involved, but some types of creators are harder to reach than others, including trans/gnc creators, male creators, M4M creators, creators of color, newer/younger creators. More people = more meaningful data. Hit us up.

Thank you! The community is really diverse and diffuse, and the more experiences we can represent the more accurate the data we can provide. And the more money we can raise for SW groups this year.

You don't have to take the survey to get the report. It's open to everyone, but each year we have tried to expand the base so that we're getting more and more people's experiences.

Because there's so much misinformation out there and that info is so often used against us.

After the survey is closed, we take the data, analyze it and provide a report to creators to help them understand where they fit into the overall community and (hopefully) give some sense as to how they can grow their revenue and businesses in the coming year.

State of the Creator is unlike anything that's being done in adult. It's done by creators for creators to help give a more accurate picture of the current community and market. Who is succeeding? Who is struggling? What is being censored? How much are we earning?

It cuts through the hype and noise.

For those unfamiliar with the State of the Creator, you can get a sense of past reports here.

Last year, over 400 creators shared their experiences in the adult industry. Together, it helped us share what platforms/sectors/strategy are most successful for creators, and the challenges creators face.
Our 2024 Top Platform List is out! @onlyfansblue.bsky.social is still #1 (used by 71% of creators), with ManyVids @manyvids.bsky.social, 53%), @fansly.com (36%), @realloyalfans.bsky.social, 35%) and @clips4sale.com (30%) rounding out the Big 5.

LoyalFans is growing fastest. Full report below.

We'll be posting excerpts of key data insights that we think are valuable to creators, but the segment of the report detailing top fan and cam platforms (as well as income trends for adult creators) is free below. ⬇️

About 1 in 5 adult creators is a creator of color. Even with the fan content revolution, creators of color face significant hurdles to earning as much as white creators — and perhaps as a result, are more likely to treat 'adult' as a business — and seek out educational resources and business tools.

Most creators (74%) are women, and most of them are making solo content.

Men make up 14% of creators, about the same percentage (12.8%) are GNC/non-binary/agender. About 7% of creators (any gender) identified as trans.

Most men in the industry have another job.

The MILF is here to stay (and this one's NOT 22).

There are now as many adult creators OVER 35 as there are UNDER 35. Men skew this a little bit (they tend to be older), but the myth that this is an industry driven by young innocent women doesn't seem to be born out by the data.
