About 1 in 5 adult creators is a creator of color. Even with the fan content revolution, creators of color face significant hurdles to earning as much as white creators — and perhaps as a result, are more likely to treat 'adult' as a business — and seek out educational resources and business tools.

About 1 in 5 adult creators is a creator of color. Even with the fan content revolution, creators of color face significant hurdles to earning as much as white creators — and perhaps as a result, are more likely to treat 'adult' as a business — and seek out educational resources and business tools.
Most creators (74%) are women, and most of them are making solo content.
Men make up 14% of creators, about the same percentage (12.8%) are GNC/non-binary/agender. About 7% of creators (any gender) identified as trans.
Most men in the industry have another job.
