This is exactly what my 17 lb monstrosity of a cat does. He's had a cold for the last week where he gets super clingy and has insisted on climbing up on my chest so I can pet him to sleep. Then he climbs down (why are cats feet so pointy?!) to lay across my legs which are numb by morning.😟

this is also very true. my big old one-brain celled boy thinks he's a kitten still... to the distress of my internal organs.

I think the Cheshire Cat had something to say about this too. Sometimes the journey IS the point, which we have to go through & discover things about ourselves in order to appreciate where you came from and where you'll end up. Often we have no idea what that path will be.

I've heard of that prophecy and it just hits in a more visceral way than biblical prophecies. that may be my own bias though.

the one that I always think about is the Hopi River Prophecy, with a very similar theme. it reminds me to flow like the river & keep moving forward.

These ghost-like viral fragments were tucked inside tiny cellular packages called extracellular vesicles, and crucially, they were missing in pre-pandemic samples. 🧪 The discovery, published in Infection, suggests the virus may hide out in the body’s reservoirs long after recovery—possibly explaining persistent symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and post-exertional crashes. ⚠️ While more research is needed to confirm if this means active infection or leftover debris, it's a huge step toward diagnosis, validation, and maybe even treatment for long COVID survivors. 👉 Long COVID is real.
