Paying somebody to make custom fitted bookshelves is a power move.
A wide-angle shot of a bookcase that is built into two walls of a study over a radiato. A printer is embedded at one end and one of the walls has a desk built in with a computer on it. Most of the shelves have books on them, but the photographer had not finished filling them at this point. Years later it's apparent he should have gone full library and done the other walls as well.

IIRC, almost none of the playable characters in Gloomhaven are even human. Yet the unrealistic part is that some of them have skin that isn't pasty white ...
A list entry for Gloomhaven, which is "Not recommended" because f it's "pro-DEI" messaging and "Out-of-place diversity in a 'medieval' setting." You know, that medieval, the one with all the Vermlings, Aeshthers, Inox, etc.

My wife hasn't quite recovered from the flu, so even though it's my house, the kids are in there own rooms and we have no visitors, I'm on the (surprisingly comfortable) sofa again tonight. #duvetknowitschristmas
A fleece blanket draped across an allegedly comfortable sofa. There are cushions, but no pillows. That's probably a choice, and not because somebody else is using them all to prop themself up in bed.
