Playing the Dragon Quest 2 Remake and it is funny how a couple of NPCs are like "The Prince of Cannock? What a fine lad! He can use sword and magic! Prince of Midenhall though? Absolute fraud. Can't cast a single spell. A fucking loser!"

Decided to install Linux on my PC yesterday on a whim and the biggest problem so far that makes me want to switch back to Windows so far is not getting my 8bitdo controller to work

There are probably a various contributing factors why I feel like that this remake was pointless in the end. Not even in the sense that it failed to get the series back and what not. Just that they made almost the same game again with a coat of fresh paint.

Love that Legends ZA is like "It’s cool living together with Pokemon" during daytime and during night it turns into "murder is legal in this area until the break of dawn"

Started the Dead Space Remake and survival horror this, survival horror that I think it feels worse to play than the original. Just so sluggish even with increased sensitivity.
Also I felt no benefit to Isaac talking. If anything it dragged out things longer so far.

Have not unlocked all weapons yet but so far I only like 1 weapon fully in Hades 2. One other that I think is okay and two I would avoid if given the choice.
Generally feeling whelmed by it. Like it is more Hades which is good and they have some cool ideas but overall so far it is more Hades...

Wondering if the thing that stopped me from getting into 2D games all this time was listening to people that say they are better played with the dpad. Instead I should've listened to my heart and used the analogue stick all along

As someone who usually sucks at 2D games I am kind of surprised to have read so many difficulty complaints about Silksong so far. It's not easy but I am having an easier time with it than with Hollow Knight.
Might be though that I am playing this now with a controller and not joycons...
