Deportations actually _increase_ housing prices because they shrink the construction industry.

The reduction in new houses being built swamps effects from lower demand

Trump has proposed and enacted cuts to Head Start, including attempts to eliminate its budget, withhold funding, and shutter regional offices. Trump’s restrictions on Medicaid and SNAP enrollment will limit student access to free meals. Trump is quoting the Bible because he knows he's going to hell.

Translation: the Republican plan is to let the vulnerable die

The ACA is flawed, but it saved lives. McCain cast a brave vote for a reason. Going backwards is not the answer. MEDICARE FOR ALL is.

And you can do it on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, which has accounted for $2 billion of the $5 billion the Trumps have made this year for their own cryptocurrency venture. Oh, and thanks to a pardon from Eric's dad, the founder of Binance won't have to serve time in prison.

Word of the day
"Concoct"
Sums up the whole trump administration
And the second word
"Corruption "
Kevin Hassett on the October jobs report: "We'll maybe be able to concoct something, but we'll never actually know for sure what the unemployment rate was in October."

I do not follow back men who have no posts or stock photos of sexy older men (I already have one) and follow hundreds of women. But I go through their follows and find a whole slew of great resister women to follow. 😁

Our calls & outrage are working! Sen Kaine, Rosen, Shaneen & Hassan said if they hear from more of their constituents, they could change their votes from a yes to a no. Rs may not be voting for this bill also, so call your R senators too. Keep the phone calls coming bc it’s working! 202-224-3121

My Senator, #JonOssoff, is up for reelection in ‘26. His seat is considered the most vulnerable. He just voted “No” on the CR bill, perhaps risking his political future.

The kind of courage and selflessness we’d need more of in the Democratic Party.
