The Withering Rooms technically didn't end. It already has a fascinating story and unexpected twists, but I learn something new for this dream. So I kept going, killing everything in sight, reaching a new powerful villain and more. Wishing it never ended.

The final boss fell like a fly. Several choices were presented to me. I selected the one that needed extra work. The end…until it wasn't. I decided I needed to wake in the dream again and change my build: draining blood with a katana.

This loop naturally made me stronger. I ended up killing the same meatbags again but I got more loot to use for more items and level up like crazy. For me it was always utilizing the revolver and the shotgun and a ring for double damage. BAM! Everyone is dead.

But alas, getting deeper in the dream, the opposers became stronger. I admit I died several times. I woke up in the bed without all the items I got. I need to start over. Thankfully you can 'remember' items you like to keep, clothes/armor and very important ones which stay with you always.

I remember it felt in the beginning you were playing a survival horror videogame. It is, but only for 1-2 hours. Then I learned about magic, using human organs to get stronger and buying many different weapons/rings. I am done hiding. Now I am a hunter. It feels good.

So far I really like it. The art is great, the story has a natural progression of the events that follow and a weird love for a girl wearing a living fur suit. Finally I backed several covers made by @oh8.bsky.social!

Seeing the fox eating a girl to become a suit for her reminds me why I love Venom from Marvel. A fairy also tags alone, mostly for selfies reasons. They already faced 2 dangerous foes and of course a new one waiting in the shadows in a future issue. A fairy also tags alone, for selfies reasons.

I finished Withering Rooms…and I started New Game+ immediately. Yeah, this is so satisfying being a killing machine. Plus it unlocked the option to have a classic Resident Evil style camera. Splendid.

Simply a perfect movie. You end up caring deeply for a troublemaker, a teacher and a cook in only 2 hours. They had their personal demons to face but they weren't alone. Paul Giamatti is phenomenal. Go watch it please. It is available on Netflix.

However the moment the fight against Night ends the writing/story goes downhill. Especially when they meet the Elves tribe. Not gonna say why cause of spoilers…but I am not holding my breath for the next volume. At least I enjoyed looking at the giant cat. Cute.

Ok, maybe I am too harsh. Its beginning with the mystery around the isekai'd students was good and the World Eyes is a unique ability which can be used story wise for new interesting situations, plus Night.
